How to: Mini Shadowbox Frame – Twilight

IMG_4006I had so much fun creating the 3″ Steampunk Mini Shadowbox project that I thought I’d create another one. This one’s a little bit different and I’m definitely away with the fairies!

I’ve filmed the process as usual and if you’d like to watch how the frame was created from start to finish simply click the YouTube link below.Layout 1I hope you enjoy this little project as much as I did creating it and if you’d like to purchase this shadowbox picture it can be found on my Etsy store. **NOW SOLD**

Art Journal Page – Remember When

IMG_4021 I received so many lovely comments on an art journal page that I created incorporating a magazine image of a sailor with blended acrylic paint edges that I thought I’d see if I could achieve the same if not similar results with a different image. I found this digital photograph on a public domain website. The original is black and white, so I brought it into Adobe Photoshop and hand tinted the boy’s sweater, skin tone and hair to add a little colour pop in the centre of the page. I then printed it out on my work laser printer. I’m really pleased with the way it turned out.

I filmed the process from start to finish as usual so you can watch the page unfold! Simply click the YouTube link image below.REMTHUMB

How to: Mini Steampunk Shadow Frame

IMG_3998

A little bit of a different project from me today. I found these little 3″ shadowbox frames in my local arts & crafts store and thought they’d be cute to use in a project. As soon as I saw them I thought of doing a Steampunk style shadowbox with an eye staring right out through the glass.

As always I have filmed my process from start to finish so you can see just how I created the frame. Simply click the image below to watch on my YouTube channel.
