Art Journal Page – Spring

With the daffodils  poking through the ground and warmer weather on the horizon I was feeling in a spring mood, so decided to create a pastel toned journal page in my small Dylusions journal.

I’ve used up some papers and collage elements I’ve had kicking around in my stash for an eon and mostly used the English Cottage Artist Acrylic paints from IndigoBlu.com. All stencils and colours are listed on screen in the start to finish process video which you can watch by clicking the image above!

Art Journal Page – Mission Inspiration – The Less He Spoke

Today I’m having a little bit of fun with Peta Thompson a fellow art journaler who lives in near Brisbane, Australia. Peta also has a YouTube Channel and blog. We’ve set each other a series of “Mission Impossible” style art journal prompts to see what we create and have filmed the process. It was quite a lot of fun to do. Art Journal Page – Is it Art? – Video Hop

Once again I’m participating in another YouTube video hop. We’re hopping on a global scale with artists all over the world taking part. Journal52 – Comfort Zone

This page uses the Journal52.com WK33 Prompt of “Comfort Zone” So I go outside of mine and create a page on the fly with no real idea what I’m doing or what I want to achieve. All I have is some pre prepared print outs from my computer. I have captured my process on video for this page so you can watch how I put the page together if you wish.

Art Journal Page – Autumn’s Fire

With the changing of the season, the colours of leaves on the trees start to turn to rust. I celebrate the colours of the Autumn season with this mixed media art journal page rich in Autumn’s golds, red, browns and oranges. The quote (paraphrased) is by Irish poet William Allingham.
