Art Journal Page – Paradise Lost **NSFW**

PLTHUMB

Today I’m participating in a YouTube collaboration with Aaron Blazevich of Imperfect Impulses and Paul Browning from the Artsiders Blog. We’ve been in discussions recently about the role nudity plays in art and the fact that you don’t see much artistic nudity in art journals on YouTube. So we decided to create a small hop/collab where we each create a page featuring at least one nude!

So, to ensure that no one can accidentally stumble upon images of nudity and get offended, I haven’t added a gallery to this post!

As someone who is an atheist in the bible belt in the USA, I get so tired of the same ol pages over and over from people. I loved your video and enjoyed seeing something new and different. I loved seeing a good quote that isn’t something boring about dreaming or following god’s word, etc.
I have been a subbie for a while and enjoy your videos but this was just lovely. Something new and fun.

Thank you for your very lovely comment, as much as I love art journaling, I don’t want to create the same boring homogenous pages over and over again but do love to step outside my comfort zone and “poke the hornets nest” from time to time! XOXO

I love the quirky quality of your page. Great tip rolling the brayer over the glued collage pieces. I will do that in future. You can’t offend me, by the way. I attended life drawing weekly for over a decade before I emigrated to the US. I’ve drawn all sorts of nude bodies. I miss that experience.
